<p>The Kitchen Manager Floater is responsible for ensuring and maintaining regular daily operations of the designated location. This is a full-time position (generally 8 hours daily, Monday-Friday).</p> <p>Thank you for your interest in starting a new career with SLA Management. Enjoy!</p> <p>https://assessment.predictiveindex.com/8j7/52e46411-1a9d-4ec2-81c9-fd709a56577e?type=candidateba</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ol> <li> <p>Complete other duties or administrative request requests as assigned by the Leaders of SLA.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring that resources are in place from both a staffing and supply standpoint.</p> </li><li> <p>Implementing a wide range of functions such as food quality, production, planning, purchasing, and</p> </li></ol> <p>facility maintenance.</p> <ol start="4"> <li> <p>Working directly with Leaders in order to follow an in-unit marketing strategy.</p> </li><li> <p>Making sure all food and sanitation standards are up to standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold ServSafe standards, child nutrition regulations, federal, state, and local laws governing</p> </li></ol> <p>school food service and SLA Management policies and procedures •</p> <ol start="7"> <li>Ensure use of proper techniques for maintenance of cleanliness and preparation of food and </li></ol> <p>kitchen</p> <ol start="8"> <li> <p>Submit orders for food, kitchen supplies, office supplies, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain adequate and accurate inventory.</p> </li><li> <p>Track attendance.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring Team Members are following their schedules, clocking in and out, and basic general</p> </li></ol> <p>policies and standard operating procedures.</p> <ol start="12"> <li> <p>Plan, coordinate, oversee, and participate in preparation, cooking, and serving of menu items.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure accurate payment information and cash flow; complete deposits of cash as necessary.</p> </li></ol> <p>QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Strong work ethic and team player </li><li>Ability to communicate with various levels of management. </li><li>Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills. </li><li>Must possess high school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Preferred food service experience </li><li>Basic math a computer skill · Reliable transportation required </li><li>Customer-focused </li><li>Enjoys working with people and being around children </li></ul>
