<p>Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their team. The client offers comprehensive benefits, PTO, pad holidays, short and long-term disability, 401(k) and other benefits.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>As the Senior Accountant you will oversee and manage financial reporting, budgeting and compliance functions </li><li>Prepare financial statements </li><li>Ensure accuracy in financial transactions </li><li>Provide insight to support decision-making </li><li>Prepare annual reports, month-end, and year-end closing processes </li><li>Oversee and manage the record keeping for all contractor and business licensing </li><li>Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments </li><li>Senior Accountant will perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies </li><li>Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to improve financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations and standards </li><li>Other duties as assigned by leadership* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field </li><li>Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry </li><li>Good communication skills to interact with outside customers and interpersonal skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial members </li><li>Strong accounting software experience </li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles </li><li>Time management and meeting deadlines </li></ul>
