<p>Agriculture Service Provider - Sprayer Tech</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Location: Queen Anne, Maryland</p> <p>$5000. sign on bonus (expires 9/30/25)</p> <p>Purpose:</p> <p>Independently performs diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and /or dealer-owned</p> <p>Agricultural Equipment with emphasis on Sprayers and Application equipment. Candidates require a strong</p> <p>work ethic to complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision. Communication skills are required to</p> <p>clearly articulate aspects of work being performed to a customer in a courteous manner. This is an excellent</p> <p>opportunity for a self motivated individual interested in working for an established dealership.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>? Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on Agricultural equipment, and established Precision Ag</p> <p>products, Sprayers, Dry box units and other Application units.</p> <p>? Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required.</p> <p>? Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work</p> <p>orders and on time submission of information.</p> <p>? Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.</p> <p>? Conducts and supports customer clinics.</p> <p>? Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.</p> <p>? Participate in the JDU Training program required for development of skills and knowledge.</p> <p>? Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.</p> <p>? Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.</p> <p>? Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.</p> <p>? Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.</p> <p>? Overnight travel may be required at times.</p> <ul> <li>Additional duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:</p> <p>? Preferably one year of experience performing Ag equipment service repairs.</p> <p>? Basic understanding of chemicals used in the application industry</p> <p>? Basic knowledge of application rates and requirements</p> <p>? Experience with basic computer functions.</p> <p>? Work independently or in a team environment.</p> <p>? Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following</p> <p>Technical Manual procedures.</p> <p>? Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of Application</p> <p>equipment.</p> <p>? Must have an adequate tool set to perform job responsibilities.</p> <p>? High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.</p> <p>? Valid Driver's license.</p> <p>? DOT Medical Certification and be able to maintain as required</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $20-$38 per hour, based on experience.</p>
