S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The IT Shipping and Receiving Specialist efficiently ships and receives IT equipment, as well as maintains supply stock for the organization's IT department. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that technology assets are handled and distributed effectively.</p> <p>Position Specific Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Handles the shipping and receiving of IT equipment, including hardware, software, peripherals, and other IT supplies. </li><li>Manages and replenishes the stock of IT supplies, including cables, connectors, and other essential items. </li><li>Supports senior team members in maintaining an accurate inventory of IT assets, helping track procurement, allocation, and deployment. </li><li>Collaborates with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing for IT assets. </li><li>Assists in maintaining records of IT assets, including basic specifications and inventory counts. </li><li>Assists in the implementation of shipping and receiving processes and helps improve their efficiency. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Exposure or interest in information technology. </li><li>A moderate amount of exposure or interest in information technology desired. </li><li>Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software preferred. </li><li>Experience with inventory management software or tools preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. </li><li>Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications. </li><li>Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to IT logistics processes. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. </li></ul> <p>Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations</p> <ul> <li>Enrollment or recent completion of an IT-related certification program a plus. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment: The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions.
