We are looking for an innovative and collaborative Software Systems Manager to lead this transformation.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As a Software Systems Manager, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers to design efficient and scalable system solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead internal, external, international, and remote teams to develop the software elements of our products.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with product managers and leadership to define product requirements and long-term technology goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Build products with a forward-thinking lifecycle strategy, ensuring their longevity and relevance in the market.</p> </li><li> <p>Align with smart home consortiums and coordinate with internal teams and external partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with existing teams to enhance product capabilities, features, and updates.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and prioritize the software roadmap in collaboration with Product Owners.</p> </li><li> <p>Advocate for and educate teams on Agile methodologies and best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Own and manage the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) while integrating it into our traditional mechanical product development process.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure our software solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable, meeting industry standards and cybersecurity best practices.</p> </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <p>We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Key qualifications include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, computer science, or a related technology field.</p> </li><li> <p>10+ years of hands-on software development experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Deep understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and DevEx principles and frameworks.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience establishing an SDLC for:</p> </li><li> <p>Firmware (embedded software)</p> </li><li> <p>Mobile and cloud applications (front-end and back-end)</p> </li><li> <p>Cybersecurity, maintenance, updates, and penetration testing</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for battery-powered devices.</p> </li><li> <p>Expertise in cloud performance monitoring and cost controls to manage scalable, extensible cloud applications.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong history of driving continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on customer-centric enhancements to devices in production.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience developing and managing APIs for mobile apps (iOS and Android), devices, and C2C services.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of Azure IoT Hub and cloud-native services.</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic IoT ecosystem experience, especially with Matter.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience defining, designing, developing, and maintaining an IoT data schema.</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <p>At Delta Faucet Company, we believe that innovation thrives in a diverse and inclusive environment.
