<p>Job Description</p> <p>Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Raleigh, NC office location or working remotely.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections. </li><li>Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs. </li><li>Understanding of general renewable energy nomenclature </li><li>Assist with the development of scope, schedule and budgets for projects </li><li>Assist with the management of projects and tasks </li><li>Assist with marketing and proposal development </li></ul> <p>Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master's degree preferred </li><li>2+ years of solar structure design experience required </li><li>PE License is a plus </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Proficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, Excel </li><li>Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan development </li><li>Proficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans is as plus </li></ul>
