<p>Our Kforce client in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager to join their company. This client offers a compensation package, and excellent benefits. This position is scheduled as 3 days in office, 2 days working from home.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Accounting Manager will develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting </li><li>Preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports and budgets to provide accurate and timely financial information to management and stakeholders </li><li>Monitoring and analyzing financial data, trends and variances to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for cost savings and revenue generation </li><li>Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliating accounts, preparing journal entries and coordinating with external auditors </li><li>Prepare reporting on credit and collection performance </li><li>As an Accounting Manager, you will handle forecasting and budgeting </li><li>Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, mentoring, training, and performance evaluations </li><li>Stay updated with new industry trends and best practices* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred, but not required </li><li>5 or more years of accounting, financial, and operational experience required </li><li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Pivot Tables) and automated accounting systems </li><li>Strong analytical skill </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Organizational skills, multiple tasks and deadlines, prioritize work, and effectively delegate responsibilities to the team </li><li>Communication skills - communicate effectively to team members, senior leadership to ensure clear and accurate reporting </li><li>Leadership skills - lead, motivate and develop team members to ensure department operates efficiently and effectively </li><li>Problem-solving skills address issues when errors are identified </li></ul>
