We seek a Program Director who will play a critical role in executing strategic acquisition goals by leading complex, multi-year integration programs within the financial services industry. This unique opportunity allows you to lead a highly visible initiative with significant revenue potential, working closely with senior leaders to manage holistic integration plans.</p> <p>This role offers the opportunity to be a change agent, building awareness and vision while leading strategic initiatives that align with Manulife's mission and strategic growth objectives.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Drive acquisition integration programs fundamental to Manulife's strategy, ensuring business benefits are realized within set time and budget parameters. </li><li>Partner with leaders across Manulife/John Hancock to translate acquisition program goals into measurable action plans and drive client-focused innovation. </li><li>Develop and manage integrated plans, ensuring key program metrics and success criteria are achieved. </li><li>Oversee integration programs, considering roles, processes, technology, and data, while partnering with change management resources for business readiness. </li><li>Serve as a primary escalation point, resolving issues and facilitating workshops or analysis as needed. </li><li>Ensure financial objectives are met through active forecasting, budget preparation, and variance analysis. </li><li>Lead program management activities, including milestone planning, progress reviews, and financial management. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of program management experience, particularly in driving acquisition integrations and transformational efforts within the financial services industry. </li><li>Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and projects, demonstrating innovation in established organizations. </li><li>Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive significant change. </li><li>Highly self-directed, with excellent negotiation and collaboration skills, influencing without direct authority. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, presenting complex ideas clearly to all levels, including senior management. </li><li>Strong financial acumen, understanding key metrics and their relation to business drivers. </li><li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>PMP and/or CSM preferred. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in driving innovation within well-established organizations. </li><li>Ability to manage program financials and execute governance activities in alignment with organizational practices. </li><li>Strong ability to build and manage relationships, both within and across business units. </li><li>Commitment to quality and customer focus, with a strong ability to meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>When you join our team:</p> <ul> <li>We'll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. </li><li>We'll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words. </li><li>As part of our global team, we'll support you in shaping the future you want to see. </li></ul> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p> <p>#LI-JH</p> <p>About Manulife and John Hancock</p> <p>Manulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
