<p>We're looking for a strategic, data-driven, and highly hands-on Digital Marketing Director to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our brand's digital ecosystem. This includes email, app, loyalty, SMS, website, digital listings and third party marketplace. You'll drive guest acquisition, engagement, and retention by ensuring the digital guest experience is cohesive, optimized, and aligned with brand goals.</p> <p>This role balances high-level strategy with day-to-day execution and cross-functional collaboration. You'll own the digital roadmap in partnership with IT and manage internal and external partners to deliver results across all owned digital channels. You'll collaborate closely with the brand marketing director to best drive performance marketing in alignment of brand and digital initiatives.</p> <p>The ideal candidate combines a guest-centric mindset with operational discipline and an ability to move quickly-from setting long-term digital strategies to QA'ing a campaign on deadline.</p> <p>Percentage of Time Spent</p> <ul> <li>Strategy & Team Leadership: 30% </li><li>Campaign Execution & Channel Management: 35% </li><li>Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration: 25% </li><li>Performance Analysis, Optimization & Admin: 10% </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Digital Strategy & Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead digital strategy across email, SMS, app, loyalty, website, and digital listings, third party marketplace promotions aligned with brand campaigns and guest lifecycle stages </li><li>Develop and maintain the digital marketing roadmap and calendar, ensuring integration across platforms and departments </li><li>Partner with Marketing, IT, Ops, FP&A, and Creative leadership to align digital priorities with broader brand goals </li><li>Champion digital experience and innovation across owned channels </li></ul> <p>Execution & Channel Ownership</p> <ul> <li>Manage campaign execution with your team across all owned digital channels, from planning through deployment and performance tracking </li><li>Own the brand website, ensuring timely updates, seamless UX, and content consistency with promotional and seasonal priorities </li><li>Launch and maintain restaurant location pages and digital listings across platforms (Google, Yelp, Apple Maps, etc.), supporting openings and operational updates </li><li>Personalize content across channels using audience segmentation and lifecycle stage insights </li><li>Troubleshoot or coordinate fixes for issues across CMS, CRM, and listings platforms in partnership with IT, Finance and vendor support </li></ul> <p>Performance, Reporting & Optimization</p> <ul> <li>Monitor KPIs across owned channels (email, app, web, loyalty, SMS), including engagement, conversion, retention, and growth </li><li>Support team in analysis of campaign performance and translate insights into clear recommendations and enhancements </li><li>Collaborate with FP&A and IT teams to implement tracking, testing, and reporting best practices </li><li>Support testing and optimization initiatives (A/B, multivariate, user journeys) to improve digital outcomes </li></ul> <p>Team & Vendor Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage internal team members and external partners or vendors to execute campaigns, maintain digital properties, and meet performance goals </li><li>Coordinate cross-functional inputs and approvals across creative, brand, operations, IT, and finance </li><li>Oversee campaign planning, documentation, and calendar development </li><li>Own budget planning and invoice reconciliation for digital tools, platforms, and agency support </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the digital marketing lead across key initiatives, partnering with Brand, Ops, and IT to ensure coordinated execution </li><li>Provide flexible support for digital initiatives across departments, adapting to evolving business needs and priorities </li><li>Align brand voice, messaging, and promotions across all owned channels and digital guest touchpoints </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>6+ years of digital marketing experience with demonstrated progression of responsibility and results, ideally in a restaurant, QSR, retail, or hospitality brand </li><li>Strong expertise in lifecycle marketing, CRM/email, app and SMS marketing, web content strategy, and listings management </li><li>Proven ability to lead strategy, manage campaigns, and execute across multiple platforms </li><li>Excellent project management and communication skills </li><li>Ability to balance high-level planning with hands-on execution </li><li>Strong analytical mindset, with experience interpreting campaign performance and turning insights into action </li><li>Experience working with IT, data, and creative teams to support campaign workflows and troubleshoot issues </li><li>Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field </li></ul> <p>Preferred (Nice to Have):</p> <ul> <li>Experience collaborating with or managing performance paid media (e.g., paid social, display, programmatic, etc.) </li><li>Familiarity with restaurant-specific platforms such as Olo and Punchh </li><li>Understanding of mobile app marketing, loyalty platforms, and user journeys </li><li>Experience managing local SEO and digital listings via platforms like Soci or Yext </li><li>Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, UX best practices, and digital accessibility </li><li>Familiarity with analytics tools </li></ul>
