Receives orders and grants approval for purchases of goods or services. Analyzes changes or new issues in materials and supplies to find ways to reduce costs and improve quality.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Executes procurement strategies to assure company objectives in the areas of cost, profitability, productivity, quality, customer service, and sustainability</p> </li><li> <p>Executes tactical procurement activities of assigned location(s) for the following including interacting with suppliers, verifying specifications and pricing, creating purchase orders, monitoring order status, supplier invoice management, and resolution of non-compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Operations approved plant requisitioned Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO) supplies and services up to $100,000</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures compliance to Menasha's purchasing policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures compliance to Menasha's Supplier Code of Conduct</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures compliance with national supplier agreements</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in evaluating prospective MRO suppliers and coordinates supplier approval and qualification process</p> </li><li> <p>Supports local cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence</p> </li><li> <p>Administers annual assigned scorecard initiatives and monitors performance through forecasting and/or other company reports</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures compliance to Menasha's Risk Management supplier insurance requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>Some relevant experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the functions responsible for procurement of materials, components, equipment and services </li><li>Knowledge of practices and procedures for procurement of materials, components, equipment and services </li><li>Knowledge of methods, tools and documentation of evaluating, selecting and certifying suppliers and partners </li><li>Knowledge of process and practices for managing a variety of contractual agreements </li><li>Knowledge of the contractual and legal matters related to expenditures (consulting services, maintenance, agreements, hardware and software acquisitions, outsourcing, etc.) </li><li>Knowledge of tools, processes and practices for purchasing goods and services via electronic links to suppliers and partners </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements & Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Primarily works in an office environment </li><li>Occasional travel required </li><li>Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Two companies, one vision.</p> <p>Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
