You were made for this.</p> <p>As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Fraud. Claims & Disputes Tech team, you lead and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team's work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities </li><li>Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration </li><li>Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements </li><li>Manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements </li><li>Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, 2 + years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise </li><li>Led technology projects using Java, AWS, and Spring, focusing on fraud detection, claims processing, and dispute communication. </li><li>Managed and mentored technologists, fostering innovation and aligning technology initiatives with business goals. </li><li>Implemented automation and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, reduce deployment times, and enhance application reliability. </li><li>Deep understanding of the SDLC, applying agile methodologies to deliver incremental value and ensure compliance with industry standards. </li><li>Developed CI/CD pipelines for rapid software releases, ensuring application resiliency and security. </li><li>Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, addressing challenges in fraud detection and claims management. </li><li>Hands-on experience with AWS, designing and managing scalable cloud-native applications. </li><li>Utilized microservices architecture and containerization to enhance application scalability and deployment flexibility. </li><li>Conducted security assessments and implemented best practices to protect sensitive data in financial systems. </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Engaged in coding with Java/Spring, focusing on clean, efficient code and best practices for scalability. </li><li>Skilled in resolving code issues and proficient in Git for managing repositories and team collaboration. </li><li>Work with cross-functional teams to meet business needs and maintained detailed documentation for knowledge sharing </li></ul>
