Find your future with us.</p> <p>Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to join the Production Equipment Maintenance Team in North Charleston or Orangeburg, South Carolina.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serves as the subject matter expert for production equipment maintenance in assigned area. </li><li>Prepares and conducts training for maintenance technicians on maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of critical production assets. </li><li>Provides technical guidance and assistance to maintenance technicians in resolving production equipment issues. </li><li>Prepares and reviews training documents, custom equipment documents, tip sheets, etc. </li><li>Serves as primary technical interface for production equipment maintenance and partners with internal/external stakeholders (OEM, suppliers, production, engineering, etc) </li><li>Assist with acquiring, modifying, supporting and disposing of major custom equipment, multiple systems and subsystems assets. </li><li>Researches, interprets and applies codes, regulations and standards. </li><li>Creates project management plans and executes multiple projects to plan. </li><li>Initiates and performs continuous improvement activities, root cause analysis, rapid system problem solving. </li><li>Responds to non-routine maintenance/operator questions related to assets. </li></ul> <p>This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidates will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC or Orangeburg, SC.</p> <p>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) </li><li>5+ years of experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley </li><li>5+ years of experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley) </li><li>5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment </li><li>5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications </li><li>5+ years of experience using MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel at a minimum) </li><li>5+ years of experience in a customer facing role </li></ul> <p>Conflict of Interest</p> <p>Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.</p> <p>Relocation:</p> <p>This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.</p> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Shift Work Statement:</p> <p>This position is first shift.
