<p>MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Orthopedics Joint Replacement Falmouth, ME, is recruiting a Per Diem Physician Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). The PA/NP will work with our new joint surgeon in both a surgical and clinic setting.</p> <p>Portland offers the best of urban sophistication combined with small-town friendliness. The area provides four season recreational opportunities, such as skiing, hiking, sailing, and miles of beautiful beaches. Just two hours north of Boston, this is an exceptionally diverse and vibrant community with excellent restaurants and schools.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner with a first assist certification</p> <p>Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure</p> <p>NCCPA certification</p> <p>Current BLS required</p> <p>Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including medical histories, performing evaluations and wellness diagnosis</p> <p>Knowledge of indications for proper techniques for office procedures</p> <p>Excellent communication and team collaboration skills</p> <p>MaineHealth is a not-for-profit integrated health system whose vision is, "Working together so our communities are the healthiest in America."
