<p>Join our team as a full-time, experienced Director of IT. You will have a mastery level of technical expertise, proven experience ensuring deliverables, and skills in leading large teams successfully. You will also be actively involved in key projects that include system conversions. You will report to the Assistant Vice President, Software Development and work onsite at the Glenmont, New York office.</p> <p>Accepting internal applications through July 14, end of business day.</p> <p>What You will Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead a technical team comprised of both individual contributors and people leaders, estimated team size will range between 5-7 individuals, ensuring high profile projects are on task and delivered accordingly </li><li>Share knowledge of advanced principles and techniques of software development and delivery </li><li>Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability </li><li>Evaluate existing systems and provide technical direction to IT team members </li><li>Gauge the success and efficiency of existing systems; and develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging the systems </li><li>Collaborate with key business stakeholders to deliver well rounded software solutions </li><li>Prioritize and execute tasks in a deadline driven work environment </li><li>Support system controls and audits </li></ul> <p>What We Are Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Proven and tenured IT leadership professional who provides direction, evaluation feedback, and support of IT. teams </li><li>Ability to demonstrate that you can effectively execute and deliver results on high profile/large scale projects </li><li>Advanced technical skills </li><li>Experience in Insurance or Financial fields preferred </li><li>Experience in Duck Creek is beneficial </li></ul>
