Join us!</p> <p>THE ROLE</p> <p>Providing excellent service to customers attending events or visiting concession stands. Ensuring a positive customer experience while managing transactions, preparing, and serving food and beverage.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude </li><li>Prepare and serve food and beverages according to FEC standards </li><li>Operate POS systems, handle payment transactions, and follow proper payment procedures </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace throughout the shift </li><li>Prepare and Stock Food and Beverages as needed based on event need </li><li>Restock products and supplies before, during, and after events </li><li>Follow all health department, safety, and food-handling guidelines </li><li>Assist with stand setup, break-down, and closing procedures </li><li>Communicate product shortages, guest concerns, or operational issues to supervisors </li><li>Work collaboratively with fellow staff, volunteers, and supervisors to ensure smooth event execution </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <ul> <li>Must have a High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>3 months of related experience and/or training preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Basic working knowledge of food and beverage and food & bar preparation. </li><li>Basic math ability to accurately count and handle money. </li><li>Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patron, and others. </li><li>Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form. </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays. </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $14-16</p> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <p>Location: Fishers Event Center</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
