<p>Part-time Clinical Instructor function in a supervisory capacity of clinical learning experiences. ClinicalInstructor members must be accessible to assign or prescribe a course of action, give procedural guidance, direction, and evaluation for nursing students</p> <ul> <li> Organize, supervise, and evaluate the Registered Nursing and Nursing Assistant students in clinical settings as assigned. </li><li> Assist students in the completion of clinical assignments and clinical paperwork. </li><li> Ensure completion of all required clinical hours for each student being supervised. </li><li> Role model and maintain professional behavior of students while at the clinical facility. </li><li> Adhere to departmental clinical policies. </li><li> Maintain currency of professional knowledge and skills through professional development and continuing education. </li><li> Foster a customer service environment for fellow employees, students, and visitors. Be an Ambassador for the College. Support the college's initiative to maximize retention of current students and enable students to finish their collegiate goals </li></ul> <p>.• Comply with all policies of the Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees, the ACCS Chancellor's Office, and the College.</p> <ul> <li> Participate in College functions (Award and Honor events, Alumni Homecoming, Commencement, etc.). </li><li> Assume other work related responsibilities as assigned by the appropriately assigned College administrator. </li><li> Effective oral and written communication skills </li><li> Effective stress and time management skills </li><li> Facilitate conflict resolution successfully </li><li> Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds </li><li> An Associates of Science in nursing degree from a regionally-accredited institution is required. Bachelors of Science in nursing degree is preferred. Clinical work as a registered nurse is required. Teaching experience at the LPN or ADN level is preferred. </li><li> A current unencumbered Alabama RN license is required. </li><li> Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification. </li></ul> <p>Salary for clinical instructors based on education, part time up to 19 hours per week:</p> <p>AAS or BSN qualified instructors- $32 per hour</p> <p>MSN or higher qualified instructors- $36 per hour</p> <p>A complete application packet consists of:</p> <p>1.
