<p>Supervise the daily operations of patient intake and/or admissions, which may include scheduling, financial counseling and insurance verification.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and facilitate intake, admissions and utilization review process for incoming patients. </li><li>Plan, assign, supervise and evaluate activities performed by members of the admissions team. </li><li>Develop, implement and monitor improvement initiatives to enhance/streamline current processes and procedures. </li><li>Supervise the training of all new admissions specialists. </li><li>Implement new patient access systems and processes for the facility. </li><li>Train all direct and indirect staff engaged in daily patient access functions. </li></ul> <p>OTHER FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required with a concentration in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred. </li><li>Two plus years' experience in healthcare admissions role, with one year previous supervisory experience. </li></ul> <p>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). </li><li>First aid may be required based on state or facility. </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities</p> <p>This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
