<p>Posting dates for internal transfers:</p> <p>March 13, 2025, through March 15, 2025</p> <p>Sign on Bonus: $15,000.00 with 2 years' experience</p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION:</p> <p>A licensed respiratory care practitioner (LRCP) provides a full range of respiratory services to patients, including diagnostic evaluations, treatment, management, and care of patients with respiratory deficiency and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system, in accordance with specific physician orders, department policies and procedures. The LRCP exercises professional judgment in the performance of these procedures. The LRCP provides good patient care and recognizes when conditions arise requiring immediate action and/or initialization of life support measures. The LRCP provides education to patients, families, and staff. The LRCP maintains patient confidentiality. The LRCP is responsible to the Director of Respiratory Services and assistant manager.</p> <p>EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>A graduate of a respiratory therapy program accredited by the Commission for Respiratory Care. </li></ul> <p>Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Registered Respiratory Therapist is preferred.</p> <ul> <li>Current Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Care practitioner in the State of Ohio. </li><li>BLS certification is required by the American Heart Association upon hire. </li><li>ACLS course is required within 6 months. </li><li>NRP is required within 12 months. </li><li>PALS and/or PEARS preferred. </li></ul>
