<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Nursing tutors will provide individual and small group tutoring to students in the classroom, virtually and/or in other assigned areas on-campus.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Tutor students in groups, individually or in the classroom; or other setting on a subject specific area utilizing college skills strategies. </li><li>Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, time management, and study skills. </li><li>Assist in reviewing academic challenges, clarifying course material, and working on solutions to aid in the mastery of course content. </li><li>Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, communication skills and team work in accordance with policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Rate of Pay: $25.00 per hour and up, depends on qualifications and experience</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>An Associate's degree or higher in nursing and two (2) years nursing experience required. Candidates must be qualified in the individual subject area by having earned a "B" or higher in the subject/course in which they will tutor.
