As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Partners and collaborates with product, architecture, security and operations teams prioritize reliability and embed best practices across the software development lifecycle to improve operations across the Branch Products. </li><li>Lead and develop resilient software solutions that improve reliability, scalability and system performance of the Branch Systems. </li><li>Leads evaluation sessions with external and internal teams to outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. </li><li>Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others </li><li>Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies </li><li>Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on software development concepts and 5+ years applied experience, SRE/DevOps, platform engineer, or similar </li><li>Proficiency in operating and managing cloud-based services using IaC or EaC (infrastructure as code, environment as code Terraform or similar) in AWS </li><li>Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability </li><li>Proficient in utilizing observability tooling Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Datadog etc. </li><li>Advanced in programming in Java and Python technologies </li><li>Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods/patterns </li><li>Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle </li><li>Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) </li><li>Fluent in English </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>AWS Certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect Associate) </li><li>Experienced in SRE/DevOps practices (SLA/SLOs, error budgets, MTTR, MTTD). </li><li>Knowledge of RAG architectures and Exposure to AI/Automation technologies that improve operations. </li><li>Knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems </li></ul>
