This role requires attention to detail, strong technical ability, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm but hours could vary</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to MIG weld steel. </li><li>Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications. </li><li>Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage. </li><li>Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately. </li><li>Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools. </li><li>Operate forklift as required (Must be properly licensed in accordance with existing company policy). </li><li>May be required by management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred </li><li>1-2 years of MIG welding experience (or completion of an accredited welding program) </li><li>Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols </li><li>Strong understanding of welding safety and PPE requirements </li><li>Proficiency using fabrication tools, measuring devices, and basic shop math </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills </li><li>Certification in welding is a plus, but not required </li></ul>
