<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Consultant in Tampa, FL.</p> <p>Duties Include:</p> <ul> <li>Manage payroll tax compliance across multiple states and jurisdictions for over 35,000 worksite employees, with a strong concentration in the restaurant industry and weekly payroll cycles </li><li>Oversee the payroll tax team, including the direct supervision and development of four team members, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all payroll tax activities </li><li>Lead the set-up of new clients in MasterTax, including daily payment processing and ongoing system maintenance </li><li>Administer all aspects of payroll tax filings, including timely filing of federal, state, and local returns, especially during peak tax seasons </li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll systems, with a focus on MasterTax and Prism Payroll, ensuring effective system usage and process optimization </li><li>Provide intermediate-level Excel support including use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis for payroll reporting and audits </li><li>Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment and compliance with regulatory and business requirements* 4-5 years of progressive experience in payroll tax within a PEO or large multi-state payroll environment </li><li>Hands-on experience with MasterTax and Prism Payroll required </li><li>Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll tax regulations and filing requirements </li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and motivate a small team </li><li>High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables and VLOOKUP functions) </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment </li></ul>
