<p>SUMMARY OF POSITION:</p> <p>Responsible for transporting Bank transaction documents and other Bank- related materials; transporting mail to and from the Post Office; using and caring for Bank vehicles; and, coordinating and participating in substitute Courier scheduling as needed.</p> <p>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</p> <p>Transports Bank transaction documents and other Bank-related materials within the Community Office network:</p> <ul> <li>Picks up and delivers documents from assigned Community Offices on a prearranged schedule. </li><li>Delivers supplies to Community Offices as needed. </li><li>Transports cash and coin within established security guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Transports mail to and from the Post Office:</p> <ul> <li>Picks up Bank mail from the Post Office daily at defined times and sorts into mail bins upon return. </li><li>Signs for certified and registered letters on behalf of the Bank. </li><li>Delivers mail to the Post Office daily at defined times. </li></ul> <p>Uses and maintains Bank-owned vehicles:</p> <ul> <li>Operates Bank-owned vehicles safely and efficiently during Courier runs. </li><li>Maintains Bank vehicles to insure they remain in good working condition. </li><li>Reports any vehicle problems to the department manager. </li></ul> <p>Assists various Bank departments with special projects; such as special mailings, and delivering marketing materials.</p> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION:</p> <p>A high school diploma or equivalent.</p> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS:</p> <p>Basic reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; ability to follow basic instructions and communicate effectively; a valid driver's license is required.</p> <p>PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain regular and predictable attendance in accordance with the assigned schedule for the essential function of the job </li><li>drive various vehicles within a specified schedule; </li><li>lift items weighing at least fifty (50) pounds; </li><li>move freely from one office location to another in order to perform courier duties; </li><li>use fine motor movements when driving vehicle; </li><li>express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word when interacting with community office staff; </li><li>receive detailed information through oral or written communication; </li><li>see clearly to drive; </li><li>stretch and bend when performing courier duties; and, </li><li>write legibly. </li></ul> <p>To help our job title resonate with you, other financial institutions may title their positions like the following: driver, transport driver, delivery driver, courier delivery driver, or medical courier driver.</p> <p>F&M Trust is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability/Vet</p>
