<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Adult Education Teaching/Adult Education Instructor</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>6/26/2024</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Warren County Career Center</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>ongoing</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>ongoing</p> <p>District:</p> <p>&nbsp Warren County Career Center&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Open Position: Fire/EMS Instructor Adult Education, Adjunct Status (part-time, as needed, up to 28hrs/week).</p> <p>This can be filled by more than one person.</p> <p>Location: Warren County Career Center, Main Campus- Adult Education, Main Campus</p> <p>General Job Description:</p> <p>This individual will serve as the instructor for adult students enrolled in Fire Science courses offered by Warren County Career Center.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Five years of recent, skilled (verifiable) Fire/EMS experience </li><li>Valid State of Ohio Firefighter II certification </li><li>Valid State of Ohio Fire Instructor certification </li><li>Valid State of Ohio Advanced EMT or Paramedic certification </li><li>Valid State of Ohio EMS Instructor certification </li><li>Valid American Heart Association BLS Instructor certification (preferred)Teaching experience is desired </li><li>Willingness to work with students and colleagues as a team member </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Strong organizational and technology skills </li><li>History of good job attendance </li><li>Valid Licensure/Permit by the Ohio Department of Education as an Adult Education Instructor (or be willing to obtain credential) </li><li>Adheres to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators </li><li>Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
