If you are looking for an exciting, challenging opportunity to grow your career, don't wait - apply today to make Team CCIU even stronger tomorrow!</p> <p>SUMMARY OF POSITION:</p> <p>As an Intake and Services Coordinator at Chester County Intermediate Unit, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficacy and quality of our Advanced Clinical Services within the Student Services Department. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse array of tasks including managing service requests from CCIU programs, recruiting and onboarding staff, maintaining diligent records, and assuring the quality of services. The Intake and Services Coordinator will supervise Staffing Coordinators and Technical Readers to ensure that all actives are carried out in an effective and efficient manner. This position not only requires robust organizational skills and a keen attention to detail but also a proactive approach in staff coordination and stakeholder communication. By joining our team, you will contribute directly to the support and development of educational services that impact numerous students and educators across the district.</p> <p>DIMENSIONS AND ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS OF THE POSITION:</p> <p>The coordinator will directly report to the supervisor and will oversee all case management services, clinical staff assigned to their program, and provide supervision to staff related to the program(s) assigned. The Intake and Services Coordinator will be responsible for providing leadership for the Advanced Clinical Services program and coordinating with all special education programs across the CCIU. The Coordinator is a key part of the Student Services division and has a responsibility to contribute to the overall development of a single, comprehensive system for providing needed supports to students. Because of the nature and location of the services provided, the incumbent will have a high level of "freedom to act" which will require a person who is self-energized, self-reliant and able to make decisions. The incumbent will need to apply technical, consultative and implementation skills in identifying, assessing, coordinating and implementing services and supports for the students.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or related field - required </li><li>Minimum 8 years experience working in a behavioral health setting or related field </li><li>Minimum 5 years experience providing supervision to staff </li><li>Current police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances required </li></ul> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Request Management: Oversee the processing of requests from CCIU Programs for direct care staff through the online system. Ensure timely and efficient communication with school districts to understand their needs and match them with the appropriate staff. </li><li>Staff Recruitment: Work with staffing agencies on the recruitment process for direct care staff including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection. Evaluate the performance of staffing agencies in meeting requested needs. </li><li>Staff Onboarding: Coordinate the on-boarding and initial training programs for new staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the students' needs. Monitor the process for direct observation of new staff to ensure they demonstrate the required skills. </li><li>Log Management: Ensure that all direct care staff accurately complete and submit their daily logs in the online system. Oversee the process of log approval by supervisors, ensuring that all logs are reviewed and approved in accordance with ACS policies and procedures. </li><li>Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain quality assurance measures to evaluate stakeholder satisfaction and implement improvements. </li><li>Program Expansion: Assist in developing marketing materials (i.e., print, online) to promote the services.
