The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.</p> <p>Job Details:</p> <ul> <li>Wages start at $26/hr </li><li>Starting wage will be Higher based on verifiable experience for Higher Skill Level Technicians </li><li>Fulltime/Permanent </li><li>Day Shift </li><li>Weekend work may be required </li><li>Overtime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform repairs on heavy trucks, heavy equipment and asphalt equipment. </li><li>Trouble shoot and diagnose a wide range of service issues that affect major components such as engines, brakes, transmissions, torque converters, hydraulic systems, drive train components, heating and cooling, and electrical systems. </li><li>Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects. </li><li>Perform routine scheduled maintenance on construction equipment and dump trucks. </li><li>Complete maintenance and work order repair records. </li><li>Be able to weld and fabricate, as needed. </li><li>Heavy equipment parts familiarization including parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost of heavy equipment parts. </li><li>Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks. </li><li>Ability to operate mobile equipment. </li><li>Operate a company vehicle on public highways and job sites. </li><li>Adhere to company cardinal rules </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong uncompromising focus on safety at all times. </li><li>Able to perform all duties under DOT regulations & company safety policies and practices. </li><li>Minimum of three years of experience working on construction equipment and on-road trucks. </li><li>Capable of working with limited supervision and scheduling own work. </li><li>Experience performing DOT Annual Inspections preferred </li><li>Ability to stoop, push, kneel, twist and lift 70lbs. </li><li>Ability to climb and perform work on heights of 20 feet </li><li>Able to work in all kinds of weather conditions. </li><li>Able to develop working relationships with other employees and vendors. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Outdoor, Shop, and in-field environments </li><li>Exposure to loud noise, dust, weather and moving equipment. </li><li>Requires adherence to PPE standards at all times. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience using diagnostic software </li><li>Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR </li><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Hydraulic or technical schematic reading experience </li><li>Vocational or technical school training in diesel technology, heavy equipment, or related field. </li></ul>
