<p>Overview</p> <p>Factory Location: McBee, SC</p> <p>Compensation: $30.00 / hour</p> <p>Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked</p> <p>Schedule: Night Shift, 9PM start time</p> <p>Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Tanker Driver to safely operate a semi-trailer/tractor unit in the timely pick-up and delivery of bulk water from our spring sites to bottling facilities. All routes are home daily</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Safely operate a semi-trailer/tractor unit with gross vehicle of 100,000 lbs in the timely pick-up and delivery of bulk water from spring sites to company bottlings plants </li><li>Load and unload tanker truck safely </li><li>Act as a team player by supporting the team with decisions and helping others when needed </li><li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle </li><li>Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations </li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and plant personnel </li><li>Complete all DOT required documents and reports following required laws and standards </li><li>Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, and company operating requirements </li><li>Follow company water quality testing procedures </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe vehicle </li><li>Maintain accurate driving logs, inventory, and records </li><li>Operate forklift safely to unload and reload trailer with company products. </li><li>Be courteous, outgoing, and always maintain a professional image </li><li>Protect company assets by securing product loads before and during transport </li><li>Understand and maintain load and freight weight requirements. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by Regional Transportation Manager </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience </li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement) </li><li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) </li><li>Tanker endorsement required at the time of hire </li><li>Minimum two years commercial tractor / semi- trailer driving experience, minimum 100,000 pound GVW preferred </li><li>Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): Only one license held, no DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene of an accident, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accidents, driving-related suspensions, revocations, or cancellations; disqualifying offenses; or reckless driving incidents </li><li>Ability to read and interpret information such driving routes, safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals </li><li>Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb ladders, walk all day, and move/lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation </li><li>Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in several types of weather </li><li>Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently </li><li>Experience operating a sit down forklift and/or pallet jack preferred </li></ul>
