<p>PURPOSE: To provide exceptional guest service to all guests at Crayola Experience and Mall of America. To maintain welcoming and inviting attractions via cleaning, open communication, and other duties as needed.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provide outstanding guest service consistent with Crayola and Mall of America missions and standards. </li><li>Engage with guests by determining guest needs and offering assistance accordingly. </li><li>Support the Crayola brand's educational mission to use the arts as a tool for intellectual and emotional development of children. </li><li>Facilitate art projects and activities with guests. </li><li>Prepare materials, maintain appropriate stock of necessary materials, monitors activities, and cleans and organizes work stations as assigned. </li><li>Monitor activity areas and adapt the facilitation of an area according to guest volume. </li><li>Assist in workshops, birthday parties, special events, and outreach activities as needed. </li><li>Assist guests with product, ticket, and general questions concerning Crayola Experience, Mall of America and the local region. </li><li>Understand the tickets and products carried, their features, options, and benefits, as well as the branding of Crayola Experience and Mall of America. </li><li>Explain and enforce ticket policies for Crayola Experience and other attractions. </li><li>Operate special attractions as trained to ensure safety and a positive guest experience. </li><li>Utilize and maintain loss prevention procedures for both product and currency. </li><li>Cross train to other MOA and Crayola departments, and willing to regularly be assigned to assist. </li><li>Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and high-volume days. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 16 years of age. </li><li>Outstanding guest service skills. </li><li>Strong listening and verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Able to work independently or on a team. </li><li>Prior experience in a museum, educational setting, guest service center or family attraction preferred. </li><li>Basic knowledge of computers preferred. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the team member will frequently be required to speak and listen to guests in order to understand their needs and communicate a solution.
