Buffett, acquired Precision Castparts Corp.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction. </li><li>All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable Company policies and procedures. </li><li>In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of Company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representative. </li><li>Performs final surface inspection of forged parts prior to shipment to customer. </li><li>Applies identification to products per instructions. </li><li>Conditions surface of parts as needed. </li><li>Sets up and operates marking equipment. </li><li>Moves heavy parts with forklift or crane. </li><li>Operates hand grinding machine and observes operation to detect part defects or machine malfunction. Changes wheels and parts as trained. </li><li>Measures part dimensions to determine accuracy of grinding operation. </li><li>Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from part. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
