The ideal candidate will collaborate with our Boston and our Skanska Integrated Solutions leadership teams while continuing to lead, grow, and develop their respective people, teams, and organizations. We want to meet you!</p> <p>In joining our team, you will become a champion of Skanska's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build, nurture, and cultivate their project and management teams. It will be your role to be a leader, to be a team and organizational consultant, to help create people solutions for Skanska, and to be a member of a national team of Human Resources Business Partners.</p> <p>This role reports to the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources and is partnered directly with the respective EVPs/General Managers based in Boston, MA.</p> <p>HR Business Partner Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Be embedded in the business leadership as a trusted advisor </li><li>Maintain a deep understanding of the business strategy and the needs of the operations </li><li>Leverages strategic approach while providing organizational, team, and individual consulting services. </li><li>Works closely with EVP/GM and regional leadership and managers to provide coaching at all levels </li><li>Drives solutions-focused change throughout the business </li><li>Demonstrates systemic thinking and the ability to think holistically ahead and anticipate potential implications of what is happening in the business, understanding its impacts on the organization, and parts of it, and develop solutions to capitalize on/account for </li><li>Partners within and across business units to deliver the employee experience </li><li>Drives alignment with our culture and values throughout the organization </li><li>Liaison for HR-related services for employees and the business </li><li>Supports alignment within and across business units as well as with IT, Communications, Payroll, etc. </li><li>Effectively communicates with all levels of the respective organization </li><li>Summarizes important points or messages, framing the message to the audience using meaningful terms and examples </li><li>Develops data-supported conclusions and action plans. </li><li>Informs the business with workforce insights that predict patterns and behavior that are linked to business performance </li></ul> <p>Human Resources Business Partner Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience supporting leaders in large national, regional, or global companies </li><li>3+ years of people management experience </li><li>Bachelor's Degree - Human Resources or Business or equivalent or a minimum of 10 years of experience and a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience. </li></ul> <p>Our Investment in you:</p> <ul> <li>We believe that Benefits should connect you to the support you need when it matters most, and should help you care for those who matter most.
