Established over 40 years ago, today our 15 physicians maintain offices in 4 locations, in Dutchess County, Ulster County, and Orange County. Leaders in their field, each of our physicians is trained in general urology as well as in at least one sub-specialty such as urologic cancers, urinary incontinence, pelvic prolapse, male infertility, erectile dysfunction, robotic and laparoscopic surgery, and kidney stone disease.</p> <p>Summary/Primary Role:</p> <p>We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join our growing urology practice. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. This role includes both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, with opportunities for procedural and surgical care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.</p> <p>Principal Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>(Management may amend or assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time)</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with urologic conditions, including disorders of the kidneys, bladder, prostate, urethra, and male reproductive organs. </li><li>Perform office-based procedures and surgical interventions as indicated. </li><li>Provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care for urologic patients. </li><li>Interpret diagnostic studies, including imaging and laboratory results. </li><li>Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary providers to ensure coordinated care. </li><li>Participate in call coverage as assigned. </li><li>Interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory results, imaging, and pathology reports. </li><li>Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines. </li><li>Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care </li><li>Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). </li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical meetings, and continuing medical education. </li><li>Collaborate with clinical team to ensure continuity of care. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. </li><li>All other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school </li><li>Completion of an accredited residency in Urology </li><li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology </li><li>Strong clinical, surgical, and diagnostic skills </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities </li><li>Active and unrestricted New York State medical license (or eligibility for licensure). </li><li>Current DEA registration. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care. </li><li>Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Experience with electronic medical record systems. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibility:</p> <p>This position may have supervisory responsibility for Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) within the Urology Department.</p> <p>Expected Hours of Work:</p> <p>An Employee must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes, however the expectations of the position will require an average of forty (40) hours with overtime required as scheduled. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws, while exempt employees may be required to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill their job responsibilities. Overtime requirements will be determined based on the operational needs of the organization.</p> <p>The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Premier Medical Group also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to compliment the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $350,000.00-$400,000.00.</p> <p>Travel Requirements:</p> <p>Travel between Premier Medical Group office locations may be required.</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>There is a mix of outpatient clinic, hospital rounding, and surgical time.
