Coordinates with appropriate lab Supervisor and staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care. Provides pre and post care for all diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures to patients of all demographics. Assesses and intervenes appropriately for patients following cardiac procedures. Monitors patients following the administration of moderate sedation provided by the Anesthesia team. Communicates effectively with staff, patients, families, and cardiology services administration. Demonstrates core values of integrity, compassion, balance, excellence, and teamwork. Utilizes department supplies and resources efficiently and cost-effectively. Reports equipment malfunctions and discontinue use to prevent patient harm and costly repairs. Follows infection control policies and adhere to regulatory standards, enforcing safety regulations. Assists with the orientation, training, and education of new personnel. Assists in transporting of patients to and from procedures.
