<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Work under general supervision to assist with bail setting supervision developing implementing and maintaining programming and effective procedures pertaining to justice-involved individuals who are provided services by this agency.</p> <p>Pay Grade: 45</p> <p>Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>1.Two (2) years' experience working in a criminal justice environment or related field; AND</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, psychology, sociology or closely related field; OR</p> </li><li> <p>An equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.</p> </li></ol> <p>4.PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Acts as a liaison with stakeholders to enhance the work of Pretrial Services.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in maintaining all appropriate certifications (Individual and Program related).</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with gathering and tracking data related to clients and unit performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts interviews, background investigations and prepares documents pertaining to defendants awaiting bail setting, trial and/or bond review.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts office visits and assessments.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts case reviews and report findings to appropriate personnel and stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitates groups/classes, as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Organizes and leads team discussions to promote unit and department goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides limited staff supervision and training, as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews Line Staff work as needed and manages caseloads to ensure accuracy and appropriate responses.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other related duties as required or directed.</p> </li></ol> <p>KSA's</p> <ol> <li> <p>Ability to establish and maintain meaningful rapport with various stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to make verbal and written presentations related to bail, supervision and compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to develop and implement new procedures and protocol, as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>High level of organizational skills, able to set priorities and monitor details.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to maintain a high-performance level while working independently with limited supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to make formal presentations in court.</p> </li></ol> <p>Special Requirements</p> <ol> <li> <p>Must be available for shift weekend and holiday work as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work in a jail secured environment as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Must maintain reliable transportation.</p> </li></ol> <p>Disclaimer</p> <p>This position is subject to a background check for any convictions that have a substantial relationship to potential job duties.
