Come join us make a significant difference in the lives of patients!</p> <p>About the Position:</p> <p>Edgewise is seeking a senior leader in Commercial - Cardiovascular, to shape and drive the global commercial strategy for our cardiac pipeline. This role will report to the COO. This individual will be accountable for creating the strategy and operating plan that will deliver value to patients in competitive cardiovascular markets including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and heart failure (HF).</p> <p>As the senior commercial leader for cardiac pipeline assets, this role will define the long-term commercial vision and roadmap, build foundational capabilities, and ensure global alignment to enable successful launch planning across geographies. The senior leader will operate with broad cross-functional influence and represent Commercial on program teams and governance bodies.</p> <p>This is a critical role for Edgewise. The candidate is expected to be both strategic and tactical and the role entails responsibilities that also span strategic planning, content development and communication, and analysis and insights. This leader will work closely with Corporate Strategy, Research, Development and Medical Affairs, to align upstream development with downstream needs.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Implement tactics to shape late-stage clinical trial design leveraging market insights and analytics. </li><li>Develop HCP and Customer Marketing strategies to ensure strong commercial results in competitive markets. </li><li>Implement a framework of goals and tactics, including key gaps, to support a go-to-market roadmap for Edgewise's cardiac pipeline candidates. </li><li>Define and implement pre-launch activities; Work across the business to develop and deploy strategies and processes to plan for successful and flawless commercial launches (e.g., demand forecasting, pricing/market access framework, etc.). </li><li>Drive patient centricity and innovation through all aspects of the commercial strategy </li><li>Engage with science teams (early, late) to provide commercial strategy and input to commercial assets / LCM opportunities </li></ul> <p>Required Competencies/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Expertise in cardiovascular and metabolic disease areas; Experience in the HCM space, including competitive landscape highly desirable. </li><li>Ability to cultivate and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Product launch/pre-launch experience. </li><li>In-depth understanding of multiple markets, including pricing and reimbursement dynamics. </li><li>Courage to voice "out-of-the-box" thinking where appropriate. </li><li>Given the unpredictable nature of drug development, the individual must be comfortable with a significant degree of ambiguity and improvise seamlessly. </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal); ability to translate and simplify complex information/data and explain scientific and clinical developments through effective strategic storytelling. </li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks on very tight deadlines and have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude. </li><li>Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; cares not just about the end result but also the way in which the results are delivered. </li><li>Unquestionable ethics and integrity. </li><li>Computer skills are a must (particularly PowerPoint and Excel). </li><li>Read, understand, and comply with all workplace health and safety policies; safe work practices; and company policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Required Education, Experience and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 10+ years of experience working in a commercial/marketing function, minimum 5+ years leading cross functional commercial teams </li><li>PhD in a biomedical field and/or MD and/or MBA with a focus on healthcare required. </li><li>Knowledge of cardiovascular drug development. </li><li>Understanding of the inflation reduction act (IRA) and impact to pipeline prioritization. </li></ul> <p>Our Benefits: We are proud to offer health benefits, a discretionary bonus plan, stock option grants. a stock purchase plan, a 401(k) with match and paid time off to our team members as part of their compensation plan.</p> <p>There is no deadline because the employer accepts applications on an ongoing basis.</p> <p>Edgewise does not accept resumes from recruitment agencies for this position.
