<p>About the Role</p> <p>Location</p> <p>United States of America</p> <p>North Carolina</p> <p>Charlotte</p> <p>Company</p> <p>Siemens Energy, Inc.</p> <p>Organization</p> <p>Gas Services</p> <p>Business Unit</p> <p>Central</p> <p>Full / Part time</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Experience Level</p> <p>Mid-level Professional</p> <p>Snapshot of Your Day:</p> <p>We are looking for a Data Analysis & Simulation Professional in Charlotte, NC to handle Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science projects, and enhance technical and leadership skills.</p> <p>How You'll Make an Impact:</p> <ul> <li>Engage in cross-departmental collaborations to broaden the impact of multiple business units like Steam Turbine, Generator and Grid Technology innovations across the company. </li><li>Development and deployment for the real time object and defect detection in the Steam Turbine Rotor welding business unit. </li><li>Handle display and storage of camera images and power supply to camera via PoE network card for connected arc camera Real time AI based image evaluation and video recording using a powerful graphics card. </li><li>Optimize the business processes, improve Visibility and Transparency of Large Generator (LGN) Data by automating the end-to-end process and developing the applications, automation tools and solutions. </li><li>Develop the Datasets and Datamart using Extract, Transform and load (ETL) and data manipulation tools including the Physical, Logical, and conceptual models for data mart design and development. </li><li>Understand business analytics requests for the whole Large Generator (LGN). Gather data from various sources for reporting and analysis. </li><li>Create advanced visualizations to support the operations staff to make decisions on strategy and tactics for the organization. </li><li>Document the design and key features of the product to help long term maintenance. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, or a related field and 5 years of experience. </li><li>Full term of experience must include: programming knowledge using Python and R; </li><li>Data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI; </li><li>Developing, testing, and implementing data initiatives; </li><li>ETL Tools; </li><li>Data analytics tools and software such as Alteryx, or SAS; </li><li>Statistical analysis and data modeling techniques. </li><li>Experience must also include: knowledge of big data cloud technologies (e.g. AWS); </li><li>UIPath or similar RPA tools; </li><li>SAP backend tables and table structure with SAP scripting; </li><li>Machine Learning methods, algorithms and approach; </li><li>Artificial intelligence techniques like Natural language processing, computer vision and deep learning; </li><li>Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS); and </li><li>Github. </li><li>The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program. </li><li>To apply, please email resumes to siemensenergy.resumes@siemens-energy.com referencing job code: MK/KP. </li></ul> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity Statement</p> <p>Siemens Energy and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
