<p>#LI-TV1 #LI-Remote</p> <p>Essential Functions and Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>Complete all aspects of sales and use tax, property tax and local licensing for clients including status updates to managers, timely filings, and payment submissions</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate understanding of the client's business including basis of sales, fixed assets to be reported, and potential audit risks</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and implement process improvements of the compliance function for sales and use tax as well as property tax</p> </li><li> <p>Complete assigned tasks within the time requested, explain variances when needed</p> </li><li> <p>Achieve charge hour goals</p> </li><li> <p>Assist associates with sales and use tax or property tax work; provide constructive review points</p> </li><li> <p>May supervise Associate's on engagements</p> </li><li> <p>Train and mentor associate staff</p> </li><li> <p>May be involved in the client billing process by assisting Managers or Directors</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and begin to develop knowledge in audits or taxability research and advisement as they relate to sales and use tax or property tax</p> </li><li> <p>Leverage industry knowledge and business acumen blending cross serve opportunities into client engagements</p> </li><li> <p>Execute administrative duties as assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Additional responsibilities as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred </li><li>2 years of experience in public accounting or related field </li><li>CPA candidates preferred </li><li>Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally </li><li>Proficient use of applicable technology </li><li>Must be able to travel based on client and business needs </li></ul>
