This position involves providing high-quality education, supervision, and support to students while ensuring their safety and well-being. The Teacher will be responsible for delivering the curriculum, engaging with students, conducting child observations, and maintaining effective communication with both parents and staff.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Safety & Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the school day. Supervise students in the classroom, on school grounds, and during transitions.</p> <ul> <li>Curriculum Implementation: Follow the provided curriculum and lesson plans, adjusting as needed to meet students' learning needs. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that supports students' academic growth. </li><li>Teaching & Instruction: Deliver lessons in accordance with the curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods to engage students and support their learning styles. </li><li>Child Observation: Observe and record student behavior, academic progress, and social interactions. Provide feedback on student development and collaborate with the lead teacher to track progress. </li><li>Classroom Management: Maintain a productive and respectful classroom environment. Implement strategies for managing student behavior effectively. </li><li>Transitioning Between Schools: Initially, work at Warren School until the lead teacher returns, then transition seamlessly to Providence School to continue supporting student learning and growth. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. </li><li>Teaching certification or willing to obtain Teaching Certificate.. </li><li>Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. </li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. </li><li>Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs. </li><li>Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere. </li></ul>
