<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Works under direct supervision to perform a variety of janitorial functions for an assigned area.</p> <p>Pay Grade: 41H</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ol> <li> <p>One (1) year of experience in custodial services; AND</p> </li><li> <p>High school diploma or possess a GED.</p> </li><li> <p>PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.</p> </li></ol> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Dusts, cleans, polishes, waxes furniture, fixtures, woodwork, and equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Washes windows and cleans blinds.</p> </li><li> <p>Sweeps, mops, waxes, and polishes floors.</p> </li><li> <p>Disposes of waste materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Opens and closes offices and moves furniture.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs all cleaning requirements necessary for the maintenance of bathrooms.</p> </li><li> <p>Replaces paper towels and maintains soap containers.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps utility storage rooms in good order by cleaning lockers and equipment and arranging supplies.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other related duties as required or directed.</p> </li></ol> <p>KSAs</p> <ol> <li> <p>Ability to learn simple tasks related to janitorial work.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to deal with others courteously.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow instructions.</p> </li></ol> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Must have manual dexterity to use common cleaning devices.</p> <p>Special Requirements</p> <p>Must pass a physical examination.</p> <p>Disclaimer</p> <p>This position is subject to a background check for any convictions that have a substantial relationship to potential job duties.
