Experience with academic coaching and counseling is key element of this position. This position will also work closely with the Center for Undergraduate Advising. Candidates, interested in working with a team to implement innovative educational strategies to a diverse student population, are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include academic coaching, scheduling and lab preparation for skills and simulation labs in collaboration with Assistant Director of Laboratory, Simulation and Clinicals and course faculty. Additional responsibilities with inventory, invoice review and supervising open lab times may also be involved, depending on experience.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Support undergraduate students proactively through academic coaching and counseling; </li><li>Assist in all retention efforts for all nursing students; </li><li>Advise students in the areas of program requirements; </li><li>Increase awareness among students of the various resources available on campus to ensure academic and personal success and to direct them appropriately; </li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to all forms of diversity; </li><li>Assist in the preparation of lab spaces for nursing skills practice and simulations by setting up and taking down equipment, mannequins, and medical supplies; </li><li>Restock lab supplies and maintain inventory; </li><li>Be an advocate of and support the University's mission, vision, values and goals; </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Chair and Dean. </li></ul> <p>Immaculata University is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
