<p>Join Our Team!</p> <p>Door Services Corporation, a business unit of Horton Automatics (an Overhead Door Corporation company), is seeking a skilled Automatic Door Service Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in the installation and maintenance of Horton Automatics products, including commercial sliding doors, optical turnstiles, revolving doors, and swinging/folding doors.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot and repair automatic door systems while delivering exceptional customer service. </li><li>Perform scheduled maintenance on a variety of door equipment, including automatic doors, entrance doors, handles, and closers. </li><li>Diagnose faulty equipment and determine the cause of malfunctions. </li><li>Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize scheduling and maximize efficiency. </li><li>Ensure safe use of tools and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards. </li><li>Complete work orders using computer-based systems. </li><li>Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure satisfaction. </li><li>Travel throughout your assigned coverage area and drive safely between job sites. </li><li>Support safety initiatives and comply with all safety policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>2-8 years in the automatic door industry preferred </li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; troubleshooting experience. </li><li>Valid driver's license required </li><li>AAADM certification preferred (ANSI 156.10 and 156.19 standards). </li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical documents, perform basic math, and use a tape measure. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in many different environments including hospitals, pharmaceuticals facilities, business offices and retail locations and is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.</p>
