Maintains strategic oversight of promotional advertising, licensing activities, and community outreach efforts. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Education/Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree, advanced degree in marketing, sales, sport management, digital marketing, or other related fields Preferred </li><li>Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in college athletics is required. Specifically, in the area of marketing, sales, or external relations </li><li>Experience leading marketing and engagement strategies for football, men's basketball, and/or women's basketball. </li><li>Commitment to and knowledge of MAC and NCAA rules. </li></ul> <p>Communication and other Skills</p> <ul> <li>Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information. </li><li>Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines. </li><li>Strong initiative to solve problems. </li><li>Excellent Customer service. </li><li>Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, fans, student-athletes, coaches, and administrators </li><li>Communicate and interact effectively, respectfully and appropriately with diverse populations in the Department, the University, and the community. </li><li>Willing to work in a team atmosphere where expectations are set and managed while giving staff flexibility to do their assigned tasks as both a leader and/or a follower. </li><li>Must have strong ability to lead project teams. </li></ul> <p>Conditions of Employment:</p> <p>To promote the highest levels of health and well-being, the University of Toledo campuses are tobacco-free.
