<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Participate in all aspects of the deal process, and concurrently work on multiple assignments. Serve as a team lead on a wide range of infrastructure and military housing debt and equity transactions, to include new debt originations (first lien, mezzanine loans, B-notes, and preferred equity); acquisition of legacy loans and other forms of public and private debt; structured solutions including synthetic risk transfers and platform investments; restructurings; and recapitalization.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Independently cultivate and maintain relationships with capital sources, counterparties, and sponsors so as to source new transactions, sources of capital, and secondary market opportunities </li><li>Conduct market research and data analysis to identify new opportunities and support development of products and credit standards </li><li>Develop materials for internal and client understanding of transactions, market conditions and opportunities, as well as new prospect marketing materials </li><li>Responsible for the development, negotiation and execution of investment transactions. Conduct underwriting, due diligence, deal structuring, and deal execution, including the negotiation of term sheets and finance terms </li><li>Develop and present written analyses, modeling, documentation and presentation materials in support of investment opportunities </li><li>Collaborate with Portfolio Mangers to ensure prompt and accurate transaction surveillance throughout the lifecycle of an originated product </li><li>Identify, plan, and execute transaction exits to include sale, refinancing, restructuring and liquidation of specified securities in order to realize returns and mitigate risk on existing positions </li><li>Review and respond to requests related to settlement and other issue resolutions </li><li>Develop a deep understanding of Guggenheim Investments investment strategies and clients including investment guidelines, regulatory capital considerations, regulators, and Guggenheim's internal policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Pursuit of CFA if not already achieved </li><li>Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of prioritizing and managing diverse workloads under tight deadlines </li><li>Expertise in driving standardization and optimization of processes and deliverables </li><li>Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment, steering strategic projects that support growth and competitive positioning </li><li>Experience in developing, implementing and optimizing business processes in the real estate investments funds space </li><li>Strong and strategic relationship management skills and experience overseeing client relationships from an operating perspective </li><li>Problem solver, positive attitude, be curious as to how processes can be improved </li><li>Strong negotiation and influencing skills </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree or equivalent </li><li>7+ years related experience in real estate investment management, including 5+ years of real estate fundraising experience </li><li>Detailed knowledge of Municipal sector, market operations, challenges and opportunities </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and excellent presentation skills </li><li>The highest ethical values in professional and personal conduct </li><li>Proficiency in Bloomberg, Aladdin, Python, and Microsoft Office </li></ul> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>Annual base salary between</p> <p>$150,000.00-$175,000.00</p> <p>The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.</p>
