<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The Post-Degree Coordinator for the Acute Surgical Pain Management Fellowship (ASPMF) provides high-level administrative and operational support to the fellowship program and its faculty. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the fellowship by coordinating academic, clinical, and compliance-related activities in alignment with the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) standards.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, education, or related field (preferred).</p> <p>Experience in academic program administration, preferably in healthcare education.</p> <p>Exceptional organizational and time management skills.</p> <p>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</p> <p>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</p> <p>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.</p> <p>Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.</p> <p>Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all communications.</p> <p>Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and cloud-based document collaboration tools.</p> <p>Ability to generate reports using data analysis software.</p> <p>Proficiency in event planning software and secure digital communication platforms.</p> <p>Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders in a technology-driven environment.</p> <p>Knowledge of healthcare credentialing processes (preferred).</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>This job description is not to be considered an exhaustive or exclusive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements. This list describes major responsibilities to support various ASPMF processes for MTSA:</p> <p>Program Administration</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the primary point of contact for the ASPMF program, managing communications with faculty, students, and external stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate program meetings, prepare agendas, and document proceedings.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate fellowship records and documentation required by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate student onboarding, including clinical credentialing processes and orientation.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage all aspects of program evaluation and credentialing processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Update, edit, and maintain program handbooks.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide coverage for MTSA's main phone line as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the planning and execution of MTSA events, including but not limited to Cadaver Workshops, PoCUS Workshops, Graduation, and White Coat Ceremony.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as back up for other post graduate programs/offerings, if needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned to support the program and institution.</p> </li></ul> <p>Faculty Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide high-level administrative assistance to fellowship faculty for their academic and scholarly activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate faculty schedules and assist with time management for program-related activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Support faculty with preparation of educational materials and resources.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with research initiatives and publication submissions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Student Services</p> <ul> <li> <p>Guide students through administrative requirements, ensuring timely completion of documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with clinical rotation scheduling and coordination.</p> </li><li> <p>Support student evaluation processes and track progress through the program.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure student files are up to date and compliant with clinical and practicum site requirements.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Quality Assurance</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with preparation for accreditation visits and reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage program evaluation data collection and analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare reports and scoring as required by regulatory and accrediting agencies, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.</p> </li></ul> <p>COMMITTEE INVOLVEMENT</p> <p>MTSA Staff Committee Member</p> <p>REPORTING</p> <p>Reports to the Director, Acute Surgical Pain Management Fellowship</p> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT</p> <p>Full time employment by MTSA</p> <p>ATTENDANCE</p> <p>Expected to be available and on campus during normal business hours of Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.</p>
