<p>PART TIME BUS DRIVER OPPORTUNITY:</p> <p>Carries out the transportation of students to and from school activities, as well as the care and maintenance of vehicle and equipment. Performs responsible functions, maintaining a pre-determined schedule and exercising independent judgment and initiative in handling frequent and diverse changes and problems.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Transport students to and from various schools. 2.Transports students to and from athletic events (may include extra-curricular activities). 3.Supervise students on school bus (maintain order if necessary). 4.Performs a circle check (twice daily) of school bus as prescribed by MGL. Chapter 90 and related equipment. Informs immediate supervisor of any problems with equipment or vehicles; may contact outside personnel for repair work as directed by supervisor. 5.Cleans daily the interior of the bus including sweeping, dusting, and cleaning of the interior windows and seats as needed. 6.Assists in evacuation drills at least two times throughout the year if requested/needed. 7.Must maintain a valid bus driver's license and take any classes needed to maintain certification as a bus driver in good standing.</p>
