<p>Full Time (80 hours/pay period)</p> <p>Days</p> <p>8:30a-5:00p Mon-Fri</p> <p>General Summary</p> <p>Performs all CT radiologic procedures at an advanced skills level. Performs procedures to produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs all CT Scan studies; obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department. EHR proficiency Under the direct supervision of the physician, administers intravenous contrast media. Recognizes complications (e.g., contrast reaction) and treats appropriately. </li><li>Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. </li><li>Positions and transfers patients comfortably, Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures. </li><li>Preforms all basic to advanced CT examinations, reconstructions and Cardiovascular CT imaging. </li><li>Independent workstation proficiency </li><li>Preceptor/Trainer with students and/or new technicians/technologists as needed. </li><li>If necessary, will take call to meet the needs of the department. Required and </li><li>Completed CT Tech II skill sets at a WellSpan facility. Required </li></ul> <p>Licenses:</p> <ul> <li>Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or </li><li>Certified in Computed Tomography - NMTCB Upon Hire Required and </li><li>Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required </li></ul> <p>Courses and Training:</p> <ul> <li>Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in computer tomography procedures.
