The Specialist will support the effective operations of early childhood education programs by coordinating daily activities and assisting with curriculum implementation. This role helps ensure high-quality care and learning experiences for young children through staff support, compliance monitoring, and family engagement. Additionally, the Specialist contributes to continuous program improvement and fosters a nurturing, inclusive environment aligned with early learning standards.</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in early childhood education </li><li>At least one year of experience working with young children (birth through Kindergarten entry) with developmental disabilities and/or autism </li><li>Experience working with an interdisciplinary team </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Salary Range: $35,568 - $40,000</p> <p>Kentucky state law requires all public institutions of postsecondary education to conduct pre-employment criminal background checks to determine suitability for employment.</p> <p>Western Kentucky University (WKU) is committed to a policy and practice of providing equal employment and educational opportunities to all individuals.
