Other benefits include FSA (medical and dependent care), Pet Insurance, Sick Time, and PTO based on years of service</p> <p>Position Specific Information (if Applicable):</p> <p>STEM School Highlands Ranch is seeking a skilled and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, safety, and long-term planning of our school's facilities. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating maintenance, managing vendor relationships, addressing repairs, supporting capital projects, and ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Facilities Manager reports directly to the Director of Facilities and works closely with the other directors and external contractors to align facility operations with the School's goals.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Facilities Management</p> <p>? Coordinate and oversee property management services, including contracted vendor services and repairs.</p> <p>? Assist in review of vendor contracts to ensure correct services and scope as needed.</p> <p>? Daily oversight and control of BAS system including coordination with service provider when needed to correct issues.</p> <p>? Conduct routine repairs and maintenance within a reasonable scope of work.</p> <p>? Ensure campus facilities are safe, well maintained, operable, and clean for use by staff and students.</p> <p>Operational Oversight</p> <p>? Delegate or complete maintenance orders to support day-to-day operations.</p> <p>? Diagnose and repair malfunctions/problems with mechanical systems, building interiors/exteriors, and related structures.</p> <p>? Investigate and prioritize service requests, complaints, and inquiries. Develop and manage work plans accordingly.</p> <p>? Create and review schedules to ensure timely project completion within allocated resources.</p> <p>Project Coordination</p> <p>? Collaborate with the Director of Facilities and department heads to help budget and implement projects and area remodels as identified.</p> <p>? Help prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and manage contracts to ensure compliance with state procurement mandates.</p> <p>? Help oversee vendors and subcontractors when working on campus.</p> <p>Leadership and Team Management</p> <p>? Provide leadership to facilities staff, including conflict resolution and team development.</p> <p>? Set and monitor short- and long-term goals for the facilities team.</p> <p>? Demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and accountability while fostering positive relationships across teams.</p> <p>Budget and Reporting</p> <p>? Assist in the preparation and management of the facilities budget.</p> <p>? Review and analyze costs, operations, and activities to ensure budget conformity.</p> <p>? Help prepare and present reports to management, highlighting progress, milestones, and decision-making metrics.</p> <p>Emergency Response</p> <p>? Act as part of the CERT team, responding to emergencies outside normal hours as needed.</p> <p>? Coordinate emergency response and repairs during crisis situations as needed.</p> <p>Additional Responsibilities</p> <p>? Perform other duties as assigned to support the School's facilities operations.</p> <p>Qualifications Required:</p> <p>? Minimum of three (3) years of experience in general facilities operations, logistics, building trades technology, or facilities supervision.</p> <p>? Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in management and staff supervision within a Facilities Services environment.</p> <p>? Working knowledge of CMMS work order/maintenance software.</p> <p>? Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.</p> <p>? Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization.</p> <p>? Knowledge of accounting principles and budget management.</p> <p>? Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.</p> <p>Qualifications Preferred</p> <p>? Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.</p> <p>? FM (Facilities Management) Certification.</p> <p>? Valid Colorado Driver's License.</p> <p>Key Competencies</p> <p>? Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.</p> <p>? School Days: 260</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>The pay range for this role is $56,500 to $75,500 per year.</p> <p>This position will be open until filled, but will not be open past: May 30, 2025</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>-- Hires and supervises Facilities Department employees, including managing other human resources functions, such as mentoring, training, resolving grievances, conducting performance evaluations, discipline, and terminations of administrative, professional, technical and classified. </li><li>-- Collaborate with District stakeholders to plan and implement maintenance, operations and construction programs that align with BOE Goals & Executive Limitations, and approved business and budgeting practices. </li><li>-- Ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to K-12 school maintenance, operations and construction processes, including environmental and energy standards. </li><li>-- Develops and monitors the maintenance, operations, and construction budgets, including analysis of budget expenditures and recommendations for on-going operational effectiveness. </li><li>-- Serves as a Facilities Department spokesperson to school and community stakeholders and local safety officials in matters of mutual interest.
