<p>Job Summary</p> <p>We are seeking a data architect to assist us with managing a large electronic health record data repository of data on patients with ocular diseases. The data architect will tap into EPIC Clarity to extract relevant clinical variables from the EPIC electronic health record, clean and organize the data in a format to facilitate analysis of the data. The data architect will also assist with linking data from the repository to other internal and external data sources including working with IT staff at other academic institutions to facilitate data extraction from their Oracle or MS SQL Server EPIC Clarity databases to incorporate such data into the multicenter repository we are building.</p> <p>Mission Statement</p> <p>Michigan Medicine improves the health of patients, populations and communities through excellence in education, patient care, community service, research and technology development, and through leadership activities in Michigan, nationally and internationally.
