This position is responsible for providing coaching expertise and leadership to student athletes. This position may scout and recruit players. This position is responsible for the well-being and safety of the players.</p> <p>Job Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Coach assigned sport including practices, contests, and pre and post seasonal play </li><li>Recruit students for sport </li><li>Monitor conduct of athletes </li><li>Abide by and enforce Concordia University rules and regulations </li><li>Abide by and enforce NCAA Division III rules </li><li>Abide by and enforce NACC rules and regulations </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>2+ Years of coaching experience in the sport or skill set and/or training in the sport </li><li>Demonstrated effective leadership, coaching and recruiting skills </li><li>Professional communication skills </li><li>Occasional overnight travel required </li><li>Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <p>A bachelor's degree is preferred. Cheer experience at a progressively high level and/or previous experience as a cheer coach/instructor.
