Reporting into the Accounting Services Supervisor, the AP Specialist will be responsible to ensure that vendor invoices are analyzed and accounted for timely and accurately in NetSuite.</p> <p>MAOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Work with various departments in resolving vendor invoice issues and responding to vendor inquiries. </li><li>Perform 3-way match when invoices are received to ensure no issues. </li><li>Verify, secure approvals and post vendor invoices into NetSuite, ensuring that amounts are recorded timely and accurately and have complete documentation. </li><li>Maintain effective vendor relations, including reconciling vendor statements and handling payment complaints or discrepancies. </li><li>Support the Accounting team ensuring prepaids and sales taxes are properly identified and analyzed. </li><li>Contribute to team effort by working on ad hoc projects as needed. </li><li>Assist with quarterly and annual audit requests, including providing supporting items for expenses recorded throughout the year. </li><li>Additional duties maybe assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Accounting or currently seeking their degree. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>2-5 years accounts payable experience in a fast-paced demanding environment </li><li>Experience in NetSuite preferred. </li><li>Excellent attention to detail </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and competing demands </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel and general computer skills </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Work is primarily performed in an office setting with a typical climate-controlled environment. </li><li>Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST, with occasional overtime required during peak periods. </li><li>Hybrid, two days in Stamford, CT office (Tuesday and Wednesday). </li></ul> <p>Pay Transparency, Budgeted Range</p> <p>$60,000-$72,800 USD</p> <p>~</p> <p>Science - Minded, Patient - Focused.</p> <p>At GeneDx, we create, follow, and are informed by cutting-edge science.
